We arrived on Saturday evening safe and sound... everyone is doing well. After a good nights sleep we got up today and went to church across the street at New Hope United Methodist Church. It was a very nice service. After church we drove back down the mountain to Middleboro and had lunch at Ryan's Buffet which was great. We picked up a few items at Wal-Mart and headed back up the mountain.
On our way back we stopped at the home some of use will be working at. It sits back up on the side of a mountain. The family was very nice. Kassie, the lady we are going to working for, was not there; she is currently in the hospital but her daughter told us that she may be coming home tomorrow. We were warned about snakes at the house; they had just killed a copperhead and a rattlesnack just about an hour before we arrived to visit.
We are just hanging out today resting and getting to know some of the other folks here for the week too.
